Meet Jen
Jen has always had a passion for animals. Since she was able to walk, her parents would let her bring all different types of animals back to their home. Her work experience started with being a kennel assistant for 2 years and after that she has been a veterinary technician for 7 years.
Jen adopted a greyhound named Kasey, a kitten named Lady Annabelle, a cat named Motorboat, a Sulcada tortoise named Bruce, a fancy mouse named Pluto, 4 blue Whites tree frogs and some fish. With her free time, Jen loves to spend time with her animals, husband, step-daughter, and young son, James. She loves to camp and do anything outdoors.
Meet Kim
Kim joined our staff as a veterinary assistant in November 2007 after years of experience at a kennel, grooming and handling show dogs. She has always had a special interest in animals. She shares her new condo with 2 dogs, Conrad & Minnie, and 2 cats, Truffles & Snowball. She enjoys pet sitting and dog walking. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, swimming, camping, or anything else outdoors.
Meet Diane
Diane has been working at APVC since February of 2007 and has been a client here since 2001. Diane and her husband have been involved in greyhound rescue since 2000. They have four of their own greyhounds and have fostered several greyhounds throughout the years. Outside of work, Diane enjoys spending time with her husband, greyhounds, and doing volunteer work for REGAP (Retired Greyhounds As Pets) of Illinois. Diane and her husband are on the Board of Directors of the adoption group. They host several "Meet 'N Greets" during the year at pet stores and malls to promote greyhound adoption and educate others on greyhounds.
Meet K.K
K.K. started working in the veterinary field back in 1981. For 13 years she worked at a small animal hospital in Wilmette and has worked with Dr. Lapin on and off since then. She shares her home with her dog Hank, and her cats, Harley, Lion and Tiger. Lion and Tiger were dropped off at our clinic when they were merely days old. K.K. took them into her home and bottle fed them until they were old enough to be on regular cat food. On her time off she enjoys spending time with her three children and her two granddaughters.
